On a Sunday morning in the late 1800's, Mr. Trexler, of Jordan, poses next to an old towpath mule. One can easily emagine what is inside those canvas sacks.
A drumlin, which is an extremely common sight in the area, dominates the background.

Effa Trexler was born in Allentown (1888) and was the 3rd daughter of Charles and Emma. She was a seamstress in Weedsport, NY prior to marrying George R. Brooks and moving to Rochester.
